Welcome to NZZL! This guide will help new hosts set up their account, understand essential requirements, and get ready to welcome guests with confidence. Whether you’re listing a private room or an entire property, the onboarding process is designed to be simple, secure, and fully aligned with Moroccan hosting standards.

Create your host account

Before you begin hosting, you’ll need to create your NZZL profile.

Steps to create your account

  • Sign up using your email.
  • Add a profile photo so guests can recognise you.
  • Complete the mandatory ID verification (national ID / passport).
  • Add your contact details for reservation updates and payout notifications.

Tips for a strong host profile

  • Use a clear, friendly profile picture.
  • Write a short bio introducing yourself and your hosting style.
  • Confirm your phone number to improve trust and visibility.

Set up your business

  • Form a business entity.
  • Acquire a tourist accommodation operating permit from MTAESS.
  • Confirm tax requirements.
  • Check zoning compliance with your Municipality.
  • Register for Income Tax / Commercial Register.
  • Purchase valid insurance coverage.

Set up your property for guests

  • Ensure amenities and furnishings are in good condition.
  • Stock toiletries and cutlery (if offered).
  • Plan for cleaning and turnovers with a cleaning checklist and/or cleaning service.
  • Check fire equipment is ready.
  • Take at least 30 quality photos.
  • Take a 1-minute video tour of the property.
