At nzzl, we work to ensure that every stay across Morocco is reliable, smooth, and respectful of both Guests and Hosts. While Host cancellations are rare, they can disrupt travel plans and reduce confidence in the platform.
This policy explains the fees and consequences that may apply when a Host cancels a confirmed reservation or is found responsible for a cancellation, as well as the limited situations where fees may be waived.
If a Host cancels a confirmed reservation, or is found responsible for a cancellation, nzzl may charge a cancellation fee and apply account or listing consequences.
The minimum cancellation fee is $50 USD or the equivalent amount in Moroccan dirhams.
Fee percentages vary by how close the cancellation is to check-in and are based on the reservation amount defined in this policy.
nzzl may waive fees for Major Disruptive Events or other verified reasons outside the Host's control, but other consequences can still apply.
Hosts do not receive payout for canceled reservations, and any required recovery may be withheld from future payouts.
This policy applies to nzzl short-term rental stays in Morocco and works alongside the Terms of Service.
If a Host cancels a confirmed reservation, or if nzzl determines that the Host is responsible for the cancellation, the following fees apply, with a minimum cancellation fee of $50 USD or the equivalent amount in Moroccan dirhams.
Fee structure:
For long-term stays of 28 days or more, fees are calculated as a percentage of the nonrefundable portion of the reservation at the time of cancellation, up to 30 days following the cancellation date, rather than the entire reservation amount.
When calculating cancellation fees, the reservation amount includes:
Taxes and nzzl service fees are excluded from the reservation amount.
If the computed fee is less than $50 USD, it will be increased to meet the $50 minimum.
Cancellation fees are deducted from the Host's upcoming payout or payouts. In addition, Hosts will not receive the payout for the canceled reservation. If payout was already made, the amount will be withheld from future payouts.
nzzl will waive cancellation fees in eligible situations, including:
Hosts may need to provide documentation or other proof. nzzl will determine whether to waive fees after reviewing the submitted evidence.
Even when fees are waived, other consequences may still apply, such as temporary blocking of the listing calendar.
Regardless of fee waivers, Hosts will not receive payout for the canceled reservation.
Beyond cancellation fees, nzzl may apply other measures, such as:
These consequences apply especially when Hosts repeatedly cancel without valid reasons.
A Host may be deemed responsible for a cancellation even if they did not explicitly initiate it. This includes situations where the listing does not match its description in a way that materially affects the Guest's stay.
Examples include:
In such cases, the Host will face full cancellation fees and consequences.
If a Host cannot honor a reservation for any reason, they must cancel promptly to allow Guests time to adjust their plans.
Hosts must not pressure or encourage Guests to cancel on their behalf.
Providing false information or fake documentation in relation to this policy is a breach of nzzl's Terms of Service and may result in account termination.
This policy applies to:
Any legal rights of Hosts or Guests to pursue claims remain unchanged. Policy updates will be made in accordance with nzzl's Terms of Service.
