Booking a stay: Instant Booking & reservation requests

You’ve found the perfect NZZL stay in Morocco — great! Here’s everything you need to know to book quickly and confidently.

Before you start, make sure your NZZL account is fully set up. Depending on the listing, you’ll either be able to book instantly or send a reservation request to the host.

Send a reservation request

You can send a booking request from the NZZL website.

Booking on desktop

  1. Open the listing you want to reserve.
  2. Select your travel dates and number of guests.
  3. Click Reserve now.

Depending on the listing, you will see one of two options:

  • “Confirm & Pay” — this listing supports Instant Booking, and you can secure it immediately.
  • “Request to Book” — you can add your payment details, review the policies and house rules, and send a message to the host before submitting your request.

After you make your booking choice

  • If you booked instantly, you’re all set — your stay is confirmed and your payment will be processed immediately.
  • If you sent a reservation request, the host typically replies within 24 hours.

While waiting, NZZL may ask you to verify your identity, ensuring safety and trust within the community.

If the host accepts

Your payment method will be charged automatically, and your booking will be confirmed.

If the host declines or doesn’t respond

Your request expires without any charge, and you’re free to book another stay.

Book faster with Instant Booking

Some NZZL listings are available for Instant Booking, meaning no host approval is needed. These listings display a “Confirm & Pay” button.

To find them easily:

  • Use the Instant Booking filter during your search.

You can still send a message to the host beforehand if you have questions.

Bookings within 48 hours of check-in

If you’re booking last-minute (within 48 hours of arrival) and you select a check-in time that is outside the host’s standard check-in window, NZZL may convert your booking into a reservation request.

The host can then decide whether your check-in time works. If it doesn’t, they can decline the request.
